He spent the 1990s and early 2000s in the games industry, eventually as a lead programmer for 3D rendering engines. He joined Bitboys in 2005 and gradually got more involved in hardware architecture, finally becoming one of the key architects of several leading mobile GPUs.

Ari Suonpää

Leader of Gfx API, SW
Ari started coding his first game during elementary school, and later his hobby turned into a Master’s degree in software engineering. Ari's background in game development led to collaboration with Bitboys. Later he worked for AMD and Qualcomm, making his contribution to graphics drivers. He traveled around the world giving lectures about graphics software and hardware. On many occasions Ari was the key person whenever there was a need for international collaboration to solve difficult graphics issues.
